Edward Flood, Chairman of the Board
Mr. Flood is currently Managing Director, Investment Banking, Haywood Securities (UK) limited. Mr. Flood was previously the Deputy Chairman of Ivanhoe Mines and was Ivanhoe’s founding President. Mr. Flood has over 35 years of experience in the international mining field has helped guide Ivanhoe's growth and established the company as a significant presence in Asia's mineral exploration and mining sectors. Prior to joining Ivanhoe, Mr. Flood was a principal at Robertson Stephens & Co., an investment bank in San Francisco, USA. He was a member of the Robertson Stephens' investment team for the Contrarian Fund, a public mutual fund concentrated on natural resources development projects around the world. Mr. Flood has held the position of senior mining analyst with a prominent Canadian securities firm. He holds a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in Geology.
Pamela J. Klessig, P. Geo., President, CEO, and Director
Ms. Klessig has over 27 years of experience in global mineral exploration, development and production. She began her career with Homestake Mining Company working as the mine geologist at the company’s uranium Pitch Mine in Colorado. Ms. Klessig also worked for Cyprus Minerals, Amselco, BP Minerals, Kennecott and Gencor where she held positions ranging from exploration geologist to exploration manager of Mexico. In addition to her considerable exploration experience, Ms. Klessig has been a member of feasibility teams working on engineering studies, mine planning, and metallurgical projects for reserve and feasibility studies conducted on a variety of projects by BP Minerals. Ms. Klessig also worked for Indochina Goldfields, now Ivanhoe Mines, during the Initial Public Offering as the Vice President of Investor Relations. As a compliment to her technical expertise she obtained her U.S. Series 7 brokerage license and worked as a stockbroker for four years with A.G. Edwards and Sons, Inc. Ms. Klessig holds a Bachelor in geology from Western State College and is a Certified Professional Geologist as defined by the American Institute of Professional Geologists and is a qualified person as defined by NI 43-101 standards.
John Proust, Director
Mr. Proust has successfully managed, directed and advised public and private companies regarding debt and equity financing, mergers and acquisitions and corporate restructuring since 1986. Highly regarded in the industry for his management skills and attention to detail, he has held senior operating positions and served on the boards of numerous private and TSX Venture Exchange listed companies including Adobe Ventures Inc., Strongbow Exploration Inc., Cash Minerals Ltd, Atlas Cromwell Ltd., Canada West Capital Inc., Chap Mercantile Inc., Navigator Exploration Corp., UFM Ventures Ltd., Coastport Capital Inc., and Duran Ventures Inc. Mr. Proust was formerly the President and a director of Canada Talc Limited, an Ontario-based miner and processor of industrial minerals. Experienced in corporate governance matters, Mr. Proust is a graduate of the Directors College, Michael G. DeGroote School of Business, McMaster University, and holds the designation of Chartered Director (C. Dir.). Mr. Proust is currently President and CEO of Southern Arc Minerals.
Debra Struhsacker, M.Sc., Director
Debra Struhsacker has over 26 years of experience working on mining, natural resource development, and environmental issues facing the exploration and mining industry. She understands the social, economic, and environmental challenges facing cities and rural communities. Ms. Struhsacker started out her career as a geologist specializing in geothermal resource development and precious metals exploration. She has worked a number of years as an environmental and governmental relations consultant providing advice to mining industry clients on a broad range of environmental, regulatory, public policy, and community relations issues and is currently providing these services to the mining industry. From May 2003 – May 2006, she was Vice President, U.S. Governmental and Regulatory Affairs for Kinross Gold USA, Inc. She is one of the founders of the Women’s Mining Coalition, a member of the Mining and Metallurgical Society of America, and is a Certified Professional Geologist.
David H.W. (Harry) Dobson, Director
Harry Dobson is a former investment banker and senior partner of Yorkton Securities. He currently engages in various merchant banking and venture capital activities in North America and Europe, and has acted as Chairman of a number of resource companies (including American Pacific Mining Company Inc. and Lytton Minerals Limited). He is currently the Chairman of Kirkland Lake Gold Inc. (a Toronto Stock Exchange and AIM quoted Company) and Rambler Metals and Mining plc (an AIM quoted Company). He is experienced in the organisation and funding of resource projects, including those located in inaccessible locations.
Colin Macdonald, Director
Mr. Macdonald has been with Cameco Corporation (“Cameco”) and predecessor companies since 1981. A geologist by training, he obtained bachelors and masters degrees in geological sciences at Queen’s University and University of Saskatchewan. Colin has held numerous positions in scientific, operational, and management roles while pursuing uranium and gold exploration in North America and internationally. He also served for a period as corporate strategic planner for Cameco. Colin is currently Vice-president, Exploration at Cameco, and is responsible for the company’s worldwide uranium exploration activities.

Mr. Epshtein received a Diploma of Technology, with honors, from the British Columbia Institute of Technology and obtained his Chartered Accountant designation in 2005 while specializing in the mining group of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP audit and assurance practice in Vancouver. Mr. Epshtein was previously employed as controller of four public exploration companies where he managed the financial reporting and Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliance. He is also chief financial officer of Canada Energy Partners Inc. an oil and gas company.
Douglas R. Bowden, M.Sc, Senior Vice President
Mr. Bowden has over 30 years of experience in the minerals exploration industry throughout North and Central America. In 1975, Mr. Bowden began his career with Noranda as an exploration geologist. His professional career rapidly evolved from field geologist to serving in a variety of management and executive positions. Prior to joining WUC, Mr. Bowden was vice-president, exploration, for Gold Summit Corp.
During his career, Mr. Bowden successfully managed large exploration programs for Amselco Minerals, a subsidiary of BP Minerals, Kennecott, and Great Basin Exploration and Mining, a subsidiary of Gencor, directing both regional generative exploration programs, as well as managing large projects involving extensive drilling. Mr. Bowden also ran his own consulting business in the late 1990s. In January of 2007, as an independent contractor, Mr. Bowden assumed management of WUC's Ruby Hill project in Nunavut.
Mr. Bowden holds an MSc in geology from Michigan Technical University, is a registered professional geologist in the state of Utah and is a qualified person as defined by NI 43-101 standards.
Neil Hillhouse, Ph.D., Senior Technical Advisor
Dr. Hillhouse has over 50 years of Canadian and International experience in the mining industry. He is the former Vice President of Exploration of Placer Development (now Barrick Gold Corporation) and former President, Chairman and CEO of Orvana Minerals Corp. Dr. Hillhouse has been directly involved in a number of discoveries and acquisitions worldwide and was awarded "Prospector of the Year" by the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada in 1993. While working for Placer Development, Dr. Hillhouse was involved in the discovery of the Eastmain Gold deposit in Québec and the acquisition, exploration and evaluation of the multi-million ounce Porgera and Misima gold mines in Papua, New Guinea as well as the Kidston and Big Bell gold mines in Australia. Dr. Hillhouse also serves on Eastmain's Special Advisory Board to provide strategic and technical advice to the Corporation. Since the year 2000 he managed Ruby Hill Exploration which was recently purchased by Western Uranium Corporation.
Cyrus Driver, Advisor
Mr. Driver is a Chartered Accountant and was a founding partner in 1982 of the chartered accounting firm of Driver Anderson. He has over 25 years accounting experience with public companies, including numerous resource companies and is now a partner of Davidson & Company, Chartered Accountants, which combined with Driver Anderson. While providing general accounting and tax services to a wide range of clients, he specializes in managing and serving publicly traded companies and members of the brokerage community. He is well-versed in all levels of public company financial activity and the integration of those activities with the various aspects of the brokerage community. He is presently a director of Superior Mining Corp., BCS Global Networks, and Cobra Ventures Inc., all TSX Venture Exchange companies.
